Education
Rebecca earned a Master's of Science in Recreation with a specialty in Therapeutic Recreation from Texas State University and a Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology from UT Austin.
Experience
Rebecca completed her clinical internship at Meridell Achievement Center, a residential treatment center for kids and adolescents with behavioral and neurobehavioral concerns. After graduating, Rebecca worked at Dell Children’s Medical Center in the acute mental health unit as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. She worked with the CLASS waiver program providing Recreation and Aquatic Therapy services to young adults with developmental disabilities and currently works with a community based neuro-rehab program as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. She concurrently works as an aerial silks coach for the past 10 years with both adults and children.

Hobbies & Personal Life
In Rebecca's personal life, she is an aerialist. Rebecca been a coach for over 10 years so I can hardly call that a hobby anymore! She is an avid scuba diver. Rebecca loves to travel and dive as often as possible. Rebecca classifies herself as a collector of hobbies, as in you name it and she has probably tried it (and still have the supplies to prove it).
