Education
Hope's educational background is in Social Work from Baylor (BSW & MSW). She also is experienced with Life Coaching as a Certified Life Coach with The Inner Glow Circle. Prior to pursuing social work, Hope was studying Secondary Education.
Experience
Much of Hope's early experience is from working in schools and youth summer and after-school programming. She went on to become the Director of the Waco Immigrants Alliance, providing her with a special passion for working with undocumented youth and families. Hope is very involved in statewide and national prison de-privatization work and overall criminal justice reform, especially around drug laws and mental health. She also ran for the local school board twice, in 2020 and 2022.
Mission
"Be the change you wish to see in the world" has always been Hope's favorite quote and life mantra. She seeks to make the world a better place in big and small ways and enjoys making peoples' lives better, alleviating unnecessary pain and suffering they might be experiencing.
Hobbies & Personal Life
Hope was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, but her favorite place she has lived has been Northwest Houston. She resides in Texas with her 10-year-old son, her eight-year-old daughter, and their recently adopted Pomeranian, Midnight.
Outside of work, Hope enjoys exploring her artistic side and getting up and moving through activities like singing, dancing, and working out.
